Raiders Aim for Big Weekend at 2026 GPAC Indoor Championships

ORANGE CITY, Iowa – The 2026 GPAC Women's Track and Field Championships are set to take place on Friday, February 20 and Saturday, February 21 at the Dordt Recreation Center in Sioux Center, Iowa. This annual event will bring together teams and individual athletes from across the Great Plains Athletic Conference to compete in a variety of track and field events.

Attendees can look forward to witnessing standout performances from notable athletes, including Kenzie Harder and Addison Smith. Kenzie Harder has previously achieved impressive marks, securing second in the GPAC in the long jump with a distance of 5.99 meters and fourth in both the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.69 seconds and the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.86 seconds. Addison Smith is another athlete to watch, entering the meet in third in the high jump with a leap of 1.63 meters.

The championship will also feature strong relay teams, such as the Distance Medley Relay team consisting of DeGroot, Schroeder, Engelmann, and Spencer, with a time of 12:39.86. Additionally, the 4x800-meter relay team, including Schroeder, Hough, DeGroot, and Engelmann, is fourth with a time of 9:34.55, while the 4x400-meter relay team, featuring Harder, Van Donge, Gramstad, and Blum, is fifth with a time of 3:55.59.

For those unable to attend in person, the championships will be broadcast live on the GPAC Network, providing an opportunity for fans to follow the action from anywhere. Live results will be available through Black Squirrel Timing. Tickets for the event are available at $11 for adults and $4 for students.
