Guidry Adds GPAC Honor

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Northwestern baseball first baseman/designated hitter Grant Guidry has been selected as the GPAC Player of the Week, presented by Hauff Mid-America Sports.

A sophomore from Yantis, Texas, Guidry led the Raider offense with an .818 average, three home runs, and nine RBIs in Northwestern's series win at McPherson. In Saturday's 19-6 win, he tied the school's single-game record with seven RBIs on a 4-for-5 outing, hitting two home runs.

The Raiders will head to Lamoni, Iowa this weekend for a four-game set, facing Graceland (Iowa) and College of the Ozarks (Mo.).
