Duncan Racks Up 362 Yards in Player of the Week Effort

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Northwestern junior quarterback Colby Duncan has been named the GPAC Offensive Player of the Week, presented by Hauff/Mid-America Sports.

"Colby handled the elements extremely well and made great decisions with the football," head coach Matt McCarty said. "He has consistently been one of the top offensive players in the GPAC this season."

Duncan totaled 362 yards and five touchdowns in Northwestern's home win over Doane. He completed 61.5% of his passes for 218 yards and three touchdowns and added 144 yards and two scores on the ground. Duncan averaged 8.4 yards per pass attempt and 11.1 yards per rushing attempt.

Duncan has been named the GPAC Offensive Player of the Week three times this season. The Northwestern signal caller leads the GPAC in rushing yards (694) and rushing touchdowns (12). He is top-five in the conference in passing yards per game (255.4), passing touchdowns (19), passing yards (2,043), and QBR (150.3).

Northwestern will look to extend its four-game winning streak this week, facing Waldorf on the road.
