Northwestern Moves into Top 15 in First NSC Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Northwestern came in at No. 14 in the first NAIA National Selection Committee (NSC) football poll, the national office announced today.

The Raiders enter the final weeks of the regular season on a five-game winning streak. They took home a 68-10 win over Waldorf last Saturday, scoring the program's most points since the 2024 season. Northwestern is third in the NAIA with 27 passing touchdowns and has a nearly perfect red zone efficiency, scoring on 40 of 42 chances. Colby Duncan leads the offense with 2,255 passing yards and 23 touchdowns. Following this week's matchup with Dakota Wesleyan, Northwestern will close the season with a bye week and a season finale against No. 13 Dordt.

St. Thomas (Fla.) led the poll as one of two unbeaten teams in the nation, followed by College of Idaho, Benedictine (Kan.), Montana Tech, and Morningside in the top five.

The NSC consists of a representative of the area ranking committees (ARC), the football NAC sport liaison, a coaches association officer or past president, and three at-large members.

The full results of the NAIA NSC Poll are linked at the top of the story.
