Women’s Tennis Opens Season with Sweep

Box Score STORM LAKE, Iowa – Northwestern's women's tennis team opened the fall with a dominant performance on the road, defeating Buena Vista (Iowa) 7-0.

The Raiders worked their way through the doubles portion with a perfect mark, led by the No. 1 duo of Pietra Ferreira and Matilde Di Martino, who picked up a 6-0 win.

Singles produced similar results with the Red Raiders emerging on top, as 1-6 each took a point to help Northwestern to a win in its opening match.
