Kralik Closes Regular Season with GPAC Honor

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Northwestern softball pitcher Kate Kralik was selected as the GPAC Pitcher of the Week, presented by Hauff Mid-America Sports, for the week of April 27.

Kralik struck out 11 batters in a 3-0 week last week. She threw 14.0 innings in three starts, compiling an ERA of 1.50 to help the Raiders clinch the GPAC regular season title. It marks the third time this season that Kralik has been selected as the GPAC Pitcher of the Week.

Kralik is the GPAC leader in wins (23), is second in strikeouts (139), and is fifth in ERA (2.38). Her wins total is tied for fifth in the country.

The Raiders will play for their second consecutive GPAC title on Monday, hosting Morningside in a best-of-three series beginning at 2:00 p.m.
