Northwestern Men Eye Strong Showing at NAIA Indoor Championships

ORANGE CITY, Iowa – The NAIA Men's Indoor Track & Field National Championship is set to take place from March 5-7, 2026, at the Alachua County Sports & Events Center in Gainesville, Florida. This highly anticipated event will feature talented participants from various institutions, including the men's track and field team from Northwestern.

Key athletes from Northwestern to watch include Braden Kalvelage, who ranks third in the NAIA for the long jump with a mark of 7.62 meters, and is also eighth in the 200m with a time of 21.32 seconds. Joining him is Carson Van Sickle, who holds the 14^th position in the 800m with a time of 1:52.10. Northwestern's relay teams are also set to compete, with the 4x800m relay team ranking 19^th and the 4x400m team ranking 20^th in the NAIA.

For those unable to attend in person, the championship will be broadcasted for free on the NAIA channel of the Urban Edge Network, providing an excellent opportunity to follow the action live.
