Raiders Record 20 All-Conference Marks at GPAC Championships

SIOUX CENTER, Iowa – The Red Raider men placed fourth at the GPAC Championships, highlighted by Braden Kalvelage's first-place finishes in both the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.71 seconds and the long jump with a distance of 7.45 meters.

Kalvelage stood out with impressive performances, earning first place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.71 and securing third place in the 60-meter dash finals with a time of 6.95. Kalvelage also excelled in the long jump, achieving a distance of 7.45 meters to claim another first-place finish. His performances earned him GPAC Outstanding Performer honors.

Grant Palmer contributed significantly in his final meet by placing third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.40 and fourth in the 400-meter dash, clocking in at 49.98. Freshman Connor Slaba also added to the team's success by finishing sixth in the 60-meter dash finals, recording a time of 6.99. The 4x800-meter relay team, featuring Carson Van Sickle, Dietrich Dirks, Ian Van Der Werff, and Brady Van Sickle, clinched third place with a time of 7:55.17, adding valuable points to the Raiders' total score.

SPRINTS
Braden Kalvelage placed third in the 60 Meter Dash Finals with a time of 6.95. Kalvelage also won the 200 Meter Dash in 21.71. Grant Palmer secured third in the 200 Meter Dash with a time of 22.40.

HURDLES
Josiah McFarland finished eighth in the 60 Meter Hurdles with a time of 8.92.

MIDDLE DISTANCE
Carson Van Sickle finished third in the 800 Meter Run with a time of 1:54.74. The Red Raiders 4x400 Meter Relay team placed third with a time of 3:23.61.

DISTANCE
Caleb Tofteland finished fifth in the 3000 Meter Run with a time of 8:50.06.

JUMPS
Braden Kalvelage won the Long Jump with a distance of 7.45m. Michael Rodriguez placed fifth in the Long Jump with a distance of 6.85m.

THROWS
Daniel Greenlee placed 12th in the Shot Put with a distance of 14.15m. Jacob Folkerts threw 14.37m in the Weight Throw, finishing 18th.
