First-Place Finish from Huss Leads Raiders in South Dakota

VERMILLION, S.D. – The Red Raider track and field teams competed at the USD Early Bird on Friday and Saturday at the Lillibridge Track Complex.

Tierney Huss started Saturday in the 100m, taking third with a 12.16, finishing as the top NAIA runner. Her time now ranks 21^st in the NAIA. Huss then went on to win the 200m just a couple hours later, running a 25.10 for the NAIA's 22^nd-best time this year. Emma Blum followed just behind in eighth, finishing the sprint in 25.98 seconds.

Blum also held a top-10 finish in the 400m, while Aubrey DeGroot had a 1.58m leap in the high jump.
