Men’s Tennis to Face Midland in GPAC Quarterfinals

ORANGE CITY, Iowa – After earning the No. 5 seed in the GPAC tournament, the Red Raider men's tennis team is set to take on No. 4-seeded Midland in the GPAC tournament this morning. Action will begin at 9:00 a.m. at First Serve Tennis Center in South Sioux City, Nebraska.

Midland won the regular season meeting 4-3 on April 4 in Orange City.

THE RAIDER REPORT
Northwestern holds a 5-12 overall record, going 2-4 in GPAC play. The Raiders are led in singles by Mateo Flores with 10 wins, while the doubles team of David Bomgaars and Jose Calderon leads the way with a 5-4 record as a pair.

SCOUTING THE WARRIORS
The Warriors are 8-11 on the year and 4-2 against conference opponents. They enter the tournament winners of four of their last five.

WHAT'S AT STAKE
The winner of Thursday's match will advance to the GPAC semifinals, facing top-seeded Morningside at approximately 1:00 p.m., also on Thursday.
