Raiders 7th in Penultimate Regular Season Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Northwestern remained at No. 7 for the third straight poll, announced today by the NAIA.

The Raiders hold a 35-6 overall record and sit atop the GPAC at 15-1 with 10 days remaining in the regular season. They have won 18 of their last 19 games entering the week and are hitting .336 as a team, led by Gwen Mikkelsen's .432 average. Mikkelsen is also leading the team in RBIs (45), doubles (14), and home runs (7). Ashtyn Billings leads the way in stolen bases (22), while Kate Kralik is second in the conference in strikeouts (123).

Southern Oregon remained in the No. 1 spot, while Oregon Tech, Science and Arts (Okla.), Cumberlands (Ky.), and Our Lady of the Lake (Texas) represented the top five.
