Raiders Win Six Events at Sioux City Relays

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Northwestern's track and field teams battled the winds on Friday and Saturday, working toward a solid outing at the Sioux City Relays.

Six women's events took first place, as Tierney Huss claimed the top spot in the 100m and 200m. Emma Blum also won two events in the 400m and 4x400m, joined by her relay team of Macy Schroeder, Jordan Shull, and Brielle Engelmann. Emma Haley won the steeplechase for the second time in her career and her second consecutive time competing in the event. Aubrey DeGroot also crushed her previous outdoor PR of 1.61m to win the high jump at 1.66m.
