How It Happened
Jamestown took an early lead, opening the first inning with three runs. The Red Raiders' initial response was met with three quick outs in the bottom half of the inning.

In the third inning, the Raiders managed to get on the scoreboard. Berkley Johannsen singled and advanced to second on a passed ball. After Cassidy Gors' sacrifice, Jenny Luevano grounded out but drove in Johannsen, bringing the score to 5-1. Jori Hajek and Ashtyn Billings both hit singles, but the inning ended with two left on.

The fifth inning saw a strong performance by the Raiders, where they scored three runs to close the gap. Gors walked and Luevano's bunt single put two on base. Billings drove Gors home with a single, and Gwen Mikkelsen later delivered a two-run line drive single to center, making the score 6-4.

Despite a late effort in the final frame, the Red Raiders could not overcome the Jimmies' lead. Billings managed a single and advanced to second on a catching error, but subsequent plays resulted in two walks and a strikeout, leaving the bases loaded as the game concluded with an 8-4 victory for Jamestown.
