Competitive Dance NWC Athletic Communications

Raiders Land Three on All-GPAC Dance Teams

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Red Raider competitive dance team received three all-conference selections, as Northwestern picked up its first All-GPAC honors since 2023.

All-conference auditions were submitted with a pre-recorded video and voted on by a panel of judges.

Ava Schmitz – Second Team
Schmitz, a sophomore from Orange City, Iowa, received her first career all-conference honors.

Bailey Ahlquist – Second Team
Ahlquist, a freshman from Worthington, Minnesota, picked up all-conference accolades in her first collegiate season.

Aimee Hulstein – Third Team
Hulstein, a senior from Sioux Center, Iowa, was named to the all-conference third team in her final collegiate season.

Juliana Spencer of Midland was named the GPAC Dance Athlete of the Year, and Midland's Erin Sibbald was named the GPAC Coach of the Year.
