Dance Takes Center Stage to Host GPAC Championships

ORANGE CITY, Iowa – The 2026 GPAC Dance Championships are set to take place on Saturday, March 7 in the Bultman Center.

EVENT SCHEDULE
The competition will begin at 10:00 AM with performances by teams in the following order: Dordt, College of Saint Mary, Concordia, Midland, Briar Cliff, Morningside, Doane, Hastings, and Northwestern. Starting at 12:30 PM, teams will perform based on their prelim rankings, with the 9th place team kicking off the final round and concluding with the top-ranked team from the prelims.

TEAM NOTES
  • Midland, currently ranked first in the NAIA with an impressive average score of 95.29, leads the pack.
  • Concordia holds the 11th spot nationally with an average score of 87.57.
  • Other notable participants include Doane (16th in NAIA), Morningside (18th in NAIA), and the host team, Northwestern, ranked 38th nationally with a score of 74.53.
Fans are encouraged to attend in person, with tickets priced at $10 for adults and $3 for K-College students. GPAC students can attend for free with a valid ID. Note that NAIA passes will be accepted, but season passes are not. GPAC faculty and staff are required to purchase tickets.

For those unable to attend in person, the championships will be broadcasted live and free of charge on the GPAC Network.
