CENTERVILLE, Iowa – Cole Spree, a 2009 Northwestern wrestling alum, has been inducted into the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Wrestling Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

Spree wrestled for the Raiders from 2007-09, qualifying for the NAIA Championships in both seasons. In his time in Raider Red, Spree had 49 ¾-point nearfalls, which ranks sixth in program history. He also competed in men's golf during his time at Northwestern.

The 2009 graduate from Parkersburg, Iowa currently coaches at Indian Hills Community College (Iowa), starting the men's and women's programs in 2019. In his first season leading just the men's program, Indian Hills captured the 2025 NJCAA North Central District Championship. He was also named the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Coach of the Year in 2025.

Prior to his time at Indian Hills, Spree coached at Ellsworth Community College, where the Panthers received 29 All-American accolades and 11 national tournament finalists. While at Ellsworth, Spree was twice named the ICCAC Coach of the Year.
