Greller Posts Top-Three Finish, Raiders Place Second at Eagle Fall Classic

AMANA, Iowa – Northwestern College secured second place at the Eagle Fall Classic, highlighted by Ray Greller's tie for second individually with an even-par 144 over two rounds.

The Raiders posted a team total of 589, narrowly trailing Kirkwood CC by four strokes. The team improved significantly in the second round with a score of 289, following an opening round of 300. Ray Greller led the effort, tying for second individually with an even score of 144, highlighted by a team-best 70 in the first round. Qwenton Caldwell also made a notable contribution with a final score of 148, finishing in eighth place after shooting for par in the second round.

Axton Miller, Evan Smith, and Ben Christy each tied for 11th with a final score of 151. Smith's performance in the second round was especially impressive with a one-under, marking a significant improvement from his first round. Christy and Miller both showed consistency, with Christy shooting 72 in the second round. Carson Uitermarkt and Trey Van Roekel, competing as individuals, finished at 160 and 164 respectively, rounding out the team's efforts at the Amana Colonies Golf Course.

Kirkwood won the event with a score of 585 (+9), also taking the individual title as Reid Hall won the event with a score of 142 (-2).
