Morningside Takes Down Northwestern in GPAC Opener

ORANGE CITY, Iowa – On a windy day on the campus of Northwestern College, the Red Raider women's tennis team dropped the GPAC opener to (RV) Morningside 7-0.

The Mustangs earned the doubles point with their first two wins, though the Raiders' No. 3 pair of Ainslie Robinson and Hannah Beckloff played to a two-game deficit in their set.

Singles saw Morningside cruise through the top five matches, winning each in two sets. Emily Westenberg took a set, 6-4 in the No. 6 spot, but fell 10-7 in the pro style tiebreaker.
