Raiders Take First Conference Win on Senior Day

ORANGE CITY, Iowa – Hosting their first of two home matches for the weekend, Northwestern defeated Hastings 6-1 at the NWC Tennis Courts on Friday.

The Raiders grabbed the doubles point with wins by David Bomgaars/Jorge Menendez and Mateo Flores/Leandro Costa, both in 6-2 decisions.

In singles, Northwestern won three of the four contested bouts, as senior Jack Roisum marked his first win of the year in a 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 3. Jorge Gonzalez came out on top 6-3, 6-1 in the top singles spot, while Mateo Flores matched the team lead with his eighth win of the year.
