Raiders Sweep Bethany Lutheran

Northwestern’s winning streak moves to four

ST. PETER, Minn. – The Red Raider women's tennis team extended its winning streak to four, defeating Bethany Lutheran (Minn.) 9-0 in a neutral-site contest Friday.

Northwestern ran ahead with three doubles points by NCAA scoring rules, winning two bouts 8-0. In singles, Emily Westenberg showed out with a 6-0, 6-0 decision, while Olya Furmanova and Ainslie Robinson also took commanding wins 6-0, 6-2 to bolster the scoring in the nonconference win.

Up Next: The Raiders will have an early-morning contest with Gustavus Adolphus (Minn.) tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.
