Women’s Tennis Earns Second Win of Weekend

Box Score OWATONNA, Minn. – The Northwestern women's tennis team picked up its second win of the weekend in their trip to Minnesota, defeating Martin Luther (Minn.) 9-0 on Saturday.

The Raiders once posted a clean sweep of an NCAA DIII opponent, winning all of their sets in singles and doubles. In singles, Olya Furmanova and Julia Anderson both won 6-0, 6-0, while Julia Kutz won the No. 1 match 6-0, 6-3. In doubles, the No. 1 team of Kutz and Anderson won 8-1, the No. 2 squad of Furmanova and Emily Westenberg won 8-5, and the No. 3 pair of Ainslie Robinson and Hannah Beckloff won 8-1.

Up Next: The Raiders will take on Wartburg (Iowa) and St. Olaf (Minn.) next Saturday, February 17 in Owatonna, Minnesota.
