Northwestern Stumbles Against Jamestown

ORANGE CITY, Iowa – The Northwestern College women's soccer team (4-7, 2-4 GPAC) dropped a 4-0 decision to the Jamestown Jimmies (3-4-3, 3-1-2 GPAC) at the NWC Soccer Complex Saturday afternoon.
 
Jamestown scored the first goal of the match in the fifth minute when Ryley Bedard found the back of the net. Later in the half, the lone assisted goal of the match was scored. Jamestown took a 2-0 lead into the halftime break.
 
The second half saw Jamestown net two more goals in the 46th and 72nd minute, taking the match 4-0.
 
The Jimmies held a 13-9 advantage in total shots on the match.

Up Next: Northwestern will be back at the NWC Soccer Complex on Wednesday, October 4 to battle the Tigers of Dakota Wesleyan (2-7, 1-4 GPAC) with kickoff at 7:15 p.m.
