Third-straight year Tornow has been tabbed All-Conference

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – After posting the best-score in program history at the GPAC Cheer Championships, the honors come in for the Northwestern College cheer team. Junior cheerleader Nathan Tornow has been garnered All-Conference for his performance at the 2023 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Cheer Championships this past weekend, the league office announced this afternoon.

"Nate is one of the most talented athletes to go through our program," notes head cheer coach Taylor Decker. "I'm proud of all the work he has put in and excited to coach him for one more year!"

Tornow (Jr., Sioux Falls, S.D.) continues to pave the way for the Northwestern competitive cheer program, now earning All-Conference honors for the third-straight season. He's the only Red Raider in program history to earn multiple All-Conference honors, and the only one to be named to the All-Conference team (2021, 2022).

For Decker, it now marks five All-Conference cheer athletes in her time leading the program.
