Laackmann Hired as Assistant Director of Athletic Communications

ORANGE CITY, Iowa – Northwestern College Vice President of Athletics Dr. Micah Parker and Director of Athletic Communications Steve Carlson have announced the hiring of Bradley Laackmann as the new Assistant Director of Athletic Communications. 
 
"I am thrilled to welcome Bradley to the athletic communications staff," noted Carlson. "He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the athletic communications industry and will play a major role in highlighting Red Raider athletics!"
 
Laackmann returns to Northwestern after completing a two-year stint of being a graduate assistant in the Dordt University Athletic Communications office. While at Dordt, he completed various tasks including in-game statistics, event recaps, photography, and managing digital ticketing initiatives for Defender Athletics.

"I'm excited to once again be a Red Raider! As a student, Northwestern was formative to me in my personal and professional life," said Laackmann. "I am looking forward to playing a part in Northwestern Athletics' mission and vision."

Laackmann is a 2020 graduate of Northwestern College with a degree in sport management. While at Northwestern, he served as student-manager for Coach Kris Korver and the men's basketball program. His primary duties for the Red Raider men's basketball program included compiling of game film and managing the team's social media account.
 
A native of Doon, Iowa, Laackmann currently resides in Orange City with his wife, Emelie.
