A four-year participant in basketball and track and field at Valley Lutheran High School, Elmore holds the school record in the high jump and as a member of the record-holding 4x100-meter relay team. In his high school career, he placed third at the conference meet and was second in the State Qualifying meet in the high jump.

"I felt like this is where God wanted me to learn and grow with a community of other believers," notes Elmore. "I'm excited for the opportunity to run track."

He is the son of Jeff and Julie Elmore, and brother to Corbin. Elmore intends to major in Biology Health Professions at Northwestern this fall.
