Raiders Conclude Road Slate, Fall to Hastings

HASTINGS, Neb. – The Northwestern College women's soccer team (6-10-1, 2-8-1 GPAC) completed their road slate for the 2022 season, falling 6-0 to the Hastings College Broncos (12-2-2, 7-2-2 GPAC) Saturday night.
 
The Hastings Broncos controlled most of the match, putting up 20+ shots in each half. The Broncos put up three goals on the board in the first half to take the 3-0 lead at the break. The Raiders mustered five shots in the first 45 minutes.
 
The Broncos continued to push the issue in the second half, netting three more goals to double their halftime lead, taking the match 6-0. Northwestern put up six shots up in the second half, and putting six on-goal in the match.
 
MATCH NOTES:
  • Hastings put up 44 shots to NWC's 11 in the match.
  • All three shots of Julie Dunlap's team-high mark were put on-goal.
  • Madi Manary and Abby Noonan both put a shot on-goal in the match.
  • Kaelin Alons played 80 minutes in goal, picking up 11 saves.
Up Next: Northwestern will conclude the regular season next Saturday, October 29 when they welcome the Doane Tigers (7-7-2, 4-5-1 GPAC) to the NWC Soccer Complex.
