NWC Stumbles in North Dakota

Julie Dunlap nets eighth goal of the season

Box Score JAMESTOWN, N.D. – The Northwestern College women's soccer team (5-6-1, 1-4-1 GPAC) stumbled against the (RV) Jamestown Jimmies up in North Dakota on Saturday evening, falling 5-1.

Jamestown got on the board early with a goal within the first 10 minutes of the match. Northwestern would respond with the equalizer from Julie Dunlap (Sr., Des Moines, Iowa) in the 28^th minute. About five minutes later, in the 33^rd minute, Jamestown would net what proved to be the game-winning goal from Ryley Bedard – her second goal of the match.

Jamestown kept the pressure on in the second half, netting three more goals to decisively take the match 5-1.

MATCH NOTES:

Julie Dunlap netted her eighth goal of the season, bringing her just one behind the team lead (9, Alexa Johnson).
Kaelin Alons made the start in goal for the Raiders, allowing two goals and notching four saves in her 45 minutes played.
She brings her GPAC-leading saves mark up to 61 on the season.
April Van Tol would play the second half, surrendering three goals and also notching four saves.
