Johnson To Play Tennis at Northwestern

Ariela Johnson (Huxley, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue her tennis career at Northwestern College in the fall.

Johnson comes to Northwestern after attending Des Moines Area Community College for one year. Johnson played four years for the Ballard High School tennis program and plans to study Nursing at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Justin and Heather.

"We are pleased to welcome in Ariela to our expanding Northwestern women's tennis program," said Head Coach Jamie DeJong. "Ariela is a transfer student from the Des Moines area who played several years of high school tennis for Ballard. We look forward to what Ariela can bring to the court and to our team."
