Brailey DeLao (
Mount Belvieu, Texas) has signed a letter of intent to continue her tennis career at Northwestern College in the fall.
DeLao transfers to Northwestern after playing two years for Cowley Community College (Kan.), a team that finished the spring season ranked third in the nation. DeLao also played four years for the Barbers Hill High School tennis program.
"We are fortunate to have connected with Brailey, who comes all the way to us from Texas," commented Northwestern Head Coach
Jamie De Jong. "She is a transfer student and brings two years of college experience to our program. We are very excited to have Brailey part of the Northwestern community and look forward to the impact she will have on our campus."
DeLao plans to study Bio-Chemistry at Northwestern and is the daughter of Ryan and Bristy.
"I chose to attend Northwestern because it's a place where I can get a great education and also continue to play a sport I enjoy," said DeLao.
