The Northwestern College men's tennis team dropped a home match to Midland this afternoon, 7-0, in conference play. The Raiders are now 0-3 in the GPAC, 4-7 overall, heading into Saturday's home match against Concordia.
"We competed very well against one of the top two teams in the GPAC," said Northwestern Head Coach
Monte Tilgner. "We were down our #2 player due to injury, putting us out of position a bit, but the matches were closer than the final scores indicated with many games going to deuce. We are getting better by the day, and I am excited to get to our last three matches and the conference tournament."
