Laci Davenport (
Osage City, Kan.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her golf career at Northwestern College this fall.
Davenport competed multiple years in both golf and basketball for Osage High School. A four-year letter winner in golf, Davenport qualified for state three years, placing 11
th in 2019 and sixth in 2020. She has a scoring average of 90, has a tournament-best score of 87 and was a member of the 4.0 Board of Education honor roll all four years. Davenport plans to study Nursing at Northwestern and is the daughter of Rusty and Kristi Davenport.
"Laci is a great young lady who will bring a lot to the team," commented Northwestern head coach
Courtney Den Herder. "She will be a great fit and is a hard worker who is really excited to continue her playing career and study at Northwestern."
"I chose to attend Northwestern because of its outstanding Nursing and golf programs," said Davenport. "I felt a sense of community and the campus was very welcoming."
