Julia Fehr (West Bend, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue her running career at Northwestern College in the fall.

Fehr has earned a combined nine letters competing for the West Bend-Mallard High School cross-country, basketball and track and field teams heading into her final season this spring. Fehr is a two-time all-conference runner and qualified for the senior all-star meet last fall. She has a personal best 5K time of 21:59 and won the Estherville meet last fall. Fehr is a two-year member of the National Honor Society and was an academic all-state pick. She plans to study Social Work at Northwestern and is the daughter of Cory and Jennifer.

"We are excited to have Julia join our Northwestern women's cross country and track teams," commented head coach Scott Bahrke. "She is a talented distance runner who will continue to improve as a member of our program. Julia will be a great fit on our team and at Northwestern." 

"I chose Northwestern because of the family atmosphere and all the amazing people I met on my visit," said Fehr.
