The Event...The Northwestern College men's tennis team opens its conference slate with a pair of road matches this weekend against Nebraska teams. Northwestern travels to Crete, Neb. for a match against Doane on Friday afternoon, beginning at 4pm. The Raiders will face Hastings the next day, on Saturday, March 27, in Hastings, Neb. at 10am.
All-Time...Northwestern holds a 7-1 advantage in the all-time series against Doane, dating back to the 1997-98 season. The last match between the teams resulted in a 9-0 loss for the Raiders in April of 2019.Â
Saturday's match will be the ninth in the rivalry between Northwestern and Hastings with the Broncos holding a 7-1 edge. The Raiders lone win came during the 2003 season.
