Jonathan Carretta (
Downey, Calif.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his baseball career at Northwestern College.

Carretta is a 6'1" infielder who played four years for the Calvary Chapel Christian School baseball team. He hit .357 in 82 at-bats with eight doubles and three home runs last season. Carretta was named second team all-league, an honor he earned for the second consecutive year. An honor roll student, Carretta is the son of Maurice and Maria.
"We are fired up to add Jonathan to our baseball program," said Northwestern Head Coach
Brian Wede. "He is a quality player who we think will continue to develop and improve during his time at Northwestern. We feel like he is a great fit for both our baseball team and our campus and will be another top notch young man in our program."
