Sam Jeffrey (
Redwood Falls, Minn.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College in the fall.
Jeffrey is a 6'1", 255-pound offensive / defensive lineman who played one season for Redwood Valley High School and two years at Natrona County High School. Jeffrey helped lead his team to the state playoffs and a 40-0 first round win. An honors student, Jeffrey plans to study Exercise Science at Northwestern and is the son of Scott and Jennifer.
"Sam is a great fit for Northwestern and its mission," commented Head Coach
Matt McCarty. "He is a tough run blocker who will be a great addition to our offensive line."
"Northwestern is a place where I can play football at a championship level and share my faith," stated Jeffrey on why he chose to attend Northwestern. "I could tell from the moment I visited that Northwestern is the place for me. The professionalism of the coaches along with the program's pride in excellence, not just on the field but for all aspects of life, made it very clear that Northwestern is a place I want to be part of."
