Coppock To Play Tennis at Northwestern

| By:
Rachel Coppock (Pella, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue her tennis career at Northwestern College in the fall.

Coppock has played two years for the Pella High School tennis team heading into her final season this spring. Coppock posted a 6-3 record as a sophomore and is a member of both the honor roll and National Honor Society. She plans to study Business / Marketing at Northwestern and is the daughter of Gary and Carleen.

"We are so excited to have Rachel join us in the fall of 2021," commented Northwestern head coach Jamie De Jong. "She is a delightful young lady and we are looking forward to watching her grow as both a player and as a student at Northwestern."

"I chose to attend Northwestern for several reasons," stated Coppock. "My sister went to Northwestern and loved it, so she wanted me to check it out. When I visited, I liked the smaller and personal feel of the campus. The professors and coaches were invested in me and willing to answer any questions that I had; they made me feel welcome."
