Ainslie Robinson (
Luverne, Minn.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her tennis career at Northwestern College in the fall.
A letter winner in three sports for Luverne High School, Robinson has played five years of varsity tennis for the Cardinals. Robinson posted a 12-3 record in her most recent season and has a 35-24 career singles record, 13-8 in doubles. She earned all-conference honors multiple years and also played both softball and basketball for Luverne.
"We are very excited to bring Ainslie to our tennis program and to the Northwestern campus in the fall," commented Northwestern head coach
Jamie De Jong. "Ainslie is a determined player who has a ton of experience playing in big matches. She will be an asset to our program over the next four years."
Robinson is a member of the both the honor roll and National Honor Society and plans to study Biology / Health Professions at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Wayne and Ann.
"I chose to come to Northwestern because I admire the small school atmosphere," commented Robinson. "Through smaller class size, I will be able to easily connect with my professors and classmates. Overall, Northwestern reinforces Christian values through the classroom and community which will allow me to grow in my faith."
