Nick Grandia (Pella, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his baseball career at Northwestern College beginning this fall.
 
Grandia, a 5'9" outfielder, is in the midst of his second year playing for Pella Community High School. Grandia earned second team all-conference accolades after hitting .320 with three doubles and 14 RBI last season (2019). He scored 11 runs and went a perfect 11-for-11 in stolen base attempts. Grandia was an academic all-district pick in football last fall and plans to study Accounting at Northwestern. He is the son of Jake and Allissa.
 
"Nick is a great signee for us," commented Northwestern Head Coach Brian Wede. "Nick is a good athlete who has had success playing for Pella High School and we expect that he can be a nice player for us as well. We really look forward to watching him develop as a baseball player and young man while he is at Northwestern."
