Devyn Kemble poured in a career-high 26 points in leading (RV) Northwestern to a 77-70 road win over the University of Jamestown Wednesday night in North Dakota.

The Red Raiders won their third straight and moved a game above .500 in league play (10-9), 15-9 overall, with three left in the regular season. Head Coach Chris Yaw's squad is 2-0 against Jamestown this season. The Jimmies, also receiving votes in the last NAIA Coaches' poll, drops to 9-10 in the conference, 16-11 overall.

Kemble downed a career-high six three-pointers without a miss and also pulled down five rebounds in leading the Red Raiders.

Northwestern raced out to an 18-2 lead as both Kemble and Bre Schuiteman knocked down a pair of three-pointers

The Red Raiders shot 63% in the first period and held a 15-point lead, 27-12.

Northwestern scored the first six points of the second quarter, matching its largest lead of the game, 33-12, at the 7:25 mark; still up 21, Jamestown outscored NW 13-4 over the final five minutes to close the gap to 39-27 by halftime.

Jamestown came all the way back, tying the game at 48-48, by the end of the third quarter; Northwestern was limited to just three field goals, going 3/14 from the field. 

An 11-2 run, finished off with three-pointers from Schuiteman and Kemble, put the Red Raiders up for good, 59-50, with eight minutes left. 

Emilee Danner drained a three-pointer to put Northwestern in front 72-61 at the four-minute mark.

Jamestown trimmed the lead down to four after a 7-0 run (72-68) with 2:24 left; Kemble, VanderVelde and Sammy Blum combined to go 5-6 from the free throw line to seal the win.
