Bryce Paulsen (
Marshall, Minn.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Northwestern College next year.
Paulsen is a 6'2" guard who had a fantastic four-year career playing for the Marshall Tigers. As a senior, Paulsen led the Tigers to a Big South Conference championship, while putting up nearly 10 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and over 2 steals per contest.  He received first team all-conference accolades as a senior.  Paulsen had an all-around great athletic career at Marshall High School, where he received awards as first-team all-conference and all-area as a quarterback on their football team and as a member of the track and field squad. Paulsen also excels in the classroom where he was an honor student for 4 years, earned a spot on the Academic All-State team as a senior and is a member of the National Honor Society. He plans to major in elementary education at Northwestern College. Paulsen is the son of Mark and Lisa.
"Bryce is a hard-nosed, versatile guard who has been coached well" commented head coach
Kris Korver. "Bryce is a winner and he comes from a winning culture. He does many things well on the basketball floor. He can guard multiple spots on the floor, rebounds, attacks well and has a strong work ethic. Bryce will be a great addition to our program and student body."
