The Rivalry...Since the 2007 season, Northwestern is 13-7 all-time against Waldorf, 3-2 over the last five games. The teams split a doubleheader played in Tucson, Ariz. earlier this season with Waldorf winning game one 7-6 and the Red Raiders taking game two 13-0.

They have won four of their last five, defeating Dakota Wesleyan, Judson (2 games) and Grand View, and losing only to Carroll. They are 2-9 against teams from the GPAC so far this season.
Now in his fifth season as the head of the Warriors baseball program, Tautges is 70-130 during his time as head coach. He also spent two years as an assistant and returns six starters and 12 players from a 2018 team that finished fifth in the NSAA at 13-10, 20-30 overall.Â
