Donovan Bustamante (
Kansas City, Mo.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College next fall.
Bustamante is a 5'9", 150-pound defensive back who had a standout two-year career playing for Park Hill High School. Bustamante accounted for 35 tackles, 30 solo, two interceptions and 15 pass break-ups in earning all-conference honors for the second year. He helped lead his team to the state playoffs as senior, finishing with a 5-5 record. Bustamante is the son of Michelle and Dez.
"Donovan has tremendous instincts in the secondary," said Northwestern Head Coach
Matt McCarty. "He possesses outstanding quickness, athleticism and has a nose for the football. Donovan's competitiveness will allow him to compete at a high level in our defense."
