Kleinhesselink To Play Football At Northwestern

Marshall Kleinhesselink (Sheldon, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College next fall.

13132Kleinhesselink is a 6'3", 235-pound offensive tackle / defensive end who played two years for Sheldon High School. Kleinhesselink registered 23 tackles and two quarterback sacks on defense while leading the way for an offense that totaled over 3,000 yards and scored 35 touchdowns. He earned first team all-district honors and was voted team captain as a senior. A member of the National Honor Society, Kleinhesselink plans to major in Biology at Northwestern. He is the son of Mike and Rachel.

"Marshall had a very good high school career," said Northwestern Head Coach Matt McCarty. "He is strong, has a good frame and was a force on both sides of the ball at Sheldon. Marshall has the potential to be a very disruptive defensive lineman and has tremendous upside. We are excited to work with Marshall over the next four years."
