The Red Raiders travel to Riverside, Calif. to face La Sierra University in the second match of their California trip. Northwestern (3-3) is coming off an upset win over 14th ranked Marymount California.

Scouting La Sierra:

The Golden Eagles (2-3) are coming off a 4-1 win against San Diego Christian College.

La Sierra has been lead by Felipe Mendizabal who has 3 goals and 1 assist on the year. Israel Vasquez and Rodrigo De La O Peres each have 2 goals. 

Troy Dekker and Javier Lopez have split time in goal this season and have a combined 2.40 GAA and a 0.667 save percentage. The Golden Eagles have allowed 12 goals on the year while scoring 10 themselves.


Scouting Northwestern:

The Red Raiders are lead by Jacobo Garcia-Nieto and Tyler Limmer with 3 goals each. Limmer also has 6 assists on the year, good for 4th in the nation. Breno Fabbri, Mateus Freitas, Anselmo Kim, and Alex Schussman all have 2 goals while 4 others have a goal on the year. 

The Raiders have scored 18 goals, good for 18th in the nation and average 2.17 assists per game. While the offense has been strong, the Raiders have only one shutout on the year.

Matt Scott has been strong in goal only allowing 9 goals in on the year. He has 17 saves on the year and has one shutout which came against Trinity Christian College.
