Conner Huss (Orange City, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football and track and field careers at Northwestern College next year.

Huss is a 6'0", 195-pound running back and linebacker who had a standout three-year career for MOC-Floyd Valley High School. Huss accounted for a team-high 80.5 tackles, including 64 solo stops and 11 tackles for a loss in earning first team all-district honors for the second consecutive year. He averaged over six yards per carry and totaled 529 yards and five touchdowns for the Dutch offense. Huss was named the team's most valuable player and plans to major in criminal justice at Northwestern.

"Conner is an outstanding addition to our defense," stated Northwestern head coach Matt McCarty. He is a physical, tough linebacker with excellent instincts and outstanding play-making abilities. Conner will excel in our defense and we are excited to watch him over the next four years."

A three-year letter winner in track and field heading into his final season this spring, Huss qualified for state in two events (distance medley, sprint medley) as a junior. He has personal bests of 22.7 in the 200m and 51.4 in the 400m. Huss is the son of Kerby and Carrina.

"We are excited that Conner will be running track and field for Northwestern College," said Northwestern head coach Scott Bahrke. "He is a talented sprinter who has the potential to help us score at conference and at national meets."
