Autumn Muilenburg (
Albert Lea, Minn.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her cross country and track and field careers at Northwestern College next year.
Muilenburg has competed seven years for the Albert Lea Senior High cross country and track teams heading into her senior season this spring. Muilenburg earned all-conference honors three years and qualified for the state cross country meet as a junior. She has personal bests of 5:29 in the 1600m, 12:03 in the 3200m and 19:06 in the 5K. Muilenburg plans to major in English Education at Northwestern and is the daughter of Mark and Holly.
"We are thrilled to have Autumn join our Red Raider cross country and track and field teams," commented Northwestern head coach
Scott Bahrke. "She is a very talented distance runner who is going to help our women's team achieve its goals in 2018-19 and beyond. Autumn has a great team-first attitude that will fit in well with our team."
