The Red Raiders dropped their GPAC match Wednesday night against Presentation 1-0.
Northwestern out shot the Saints 7-6 but could not find the back of the net.
Presentation had the edge on the windy night and was able to clean up any loose balls in their box and finish one of the true chances they had.
Mikayla Semenov was able to capitalize on a set piece in the 77th minute. Semenov was able to capitalize on the wind and find the back of the net.
"You have to give credit to Presentation on the night," commented head coach
Ben Karnish. "They did a good job defending in their final third and the chances we did get we could not put on frame. It is a tough loss but we need to bounce back as there is no time to dwell during this time of year."
The Raiders travel to College of Saint Mary Saturday in another tough GPAC matchup.
