Hayden Lee (Long Beach, Calif.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his cross country and track and field careers at Northwestern College next year.

Lee has earned six letters competing for the Valley Christian High School cross country and track and field teams. Lee earned all-league honors in cross country three years, including first team accolades as a senior. He was named to the Press Telegram Dream Team and has a personal best of 16:43 in the 5K, 4:52 in the mile and 10:38 in the 3200m. A member of the National Honor Society, Lee plans to major in Biology/Health Professions at Northwestern. He is the son of Gary and Deanna.

"We are thrilled to have Hayden come run for our men's cross country and track and field teams next fall," commented Northwestern head coach Scott Bahrke. "He is a talented runner who I feel will continue to improve over the next four years. Hayden had an outstanding high school career and is a great teammate."
