Tofteland’s Top-10 Finish Leads to GPAC Nod

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Northwestern sophomore Caleb Tofteland has been named the GPAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week, presented by Hauff/Mid-America Sports.

"I was proud of Caleb for gutting out the second half of a challenging race," head coach Scott Bahrke said. "He dug down and found the will to push late in the race on tired legs."

Tofteland was the top GPAC runner at the Blazing Tiger Classic, running the 8K in 25:12.6 for an eighth-place finish.

The Raiders will next compete at the GPAC Championships on Saturday, November 7 in Sioux Center.
