Fuhs To Play Baseball

Alexander Fuhs (Sioux Falls, S.D.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his baseball career at Northwestern College beginning next fall.

Fuhs is a 6'1" outfielder who plays for both Lincoln High School and the Sioux Falls East Post 15 Legion team. Fuhs hit. 333 with six doubles and 34 walks while also posting a 2-0 record with a 3.57 earned run average in 15.2 innings pitched. He was named the team's most valuable player and received the Silver Slugger award as a junior. Fuhs is a member of the National Honor Society and plans to major in computer science at Northwestern. He is the son of Mike and Cindy.
 
"We are excited to get Alex locked down for the next four years," said head coach Brian Wede. "He is a hard worker who has had good success and we expect him to help our program in a number of different ways. He is a great fit for what we look for in our guys."
